Solly's customers come from a variety of ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds and ages. The common bond is that they want "quality" in a traditional sense, and products that are made in the traditional way, using basic ingredients and traditional recipes. Solly's baking recreates family memories through familiar tastes, smells, and products. They want Jewish food that tastes Jewish. Our non-Jewish clientele is very discriminating, many of whom have moved here from major eastern cities, eg. New York , Montreal and Toronto , where they grew up with "real" Jewish baking. To them, "Solly's brings back a little bit of home".
